I’ve installed BBCPEX through Lutris’ script and in a standalone fashion. It only runs with the same winetricks, or else the intro video doesn’t load.
When in-game, only sound effects play, like hits, attacks and menu sounds, but voices and BGM don’t play.
I tried changing the wine sound driver to ALSA, but it also has no effect on it.
I’m under Linux Mint 19, kernel 4.17, wine 3-12 staging.
I remember reading that xaudio support has changed with wine, so maybe that’s why I can’t reproduce the Golden results in these appdb pages.
