I used the “Origin” installer in Lutris, I can download BF V but when I try to launch the game nothing happens.
Other games like CS:GO and DotA 2 work.
Distro = Arch Linux
Ryzen 5 3600x and Sapphire Nitro RX 5700 XT

I’m having the same issue with battlefield v and borderlands 3. The game stores work, but when you try to launch games it just says running for 2 seconds and then stops, as if the games crashes before launching.
Games running natively on linux work fine
Manjaro
Ryzen 5 3600 & MSI MECH RX 5700 XT
From what I’ve heard (and this doesn’t help your current situation) Kernel 5.4 will have support for the newer AMD cards.
I thought 5.3 had support already?
Hi guys, I had the same problem with Origin games. the solution is simple: disable under game properties:
Enable Origin in game for Battlefield™ V << (Deactivate this here)
I tested this solution at Battlefield V and Titanfall 2,
both games running in Ultra Perfect.

Doesn’t work for me
Same as my settings
I played Battlefield V and one normally with my ryzen 1700, after I switched to ryzen 3600X Battlefield V stopped working with Lutris. I suspect there must be some buggy instruction in the AMD BIOS, I’m waiting on the new AGESA 1.0.0.4 on my Asus Gaming X370 -f, it’s the only explanation I found for such an error not starting BFV. As with launching with the RdRand statement. What do you think of my theory?
