i have a problem and i would find it nice, if you help me …
i have many questions …
i have installed the battle.net app again and without lutris …
the login-screen of the battle.net app does not show the login-button, so i can not login with the battle.net app … the login-screen looks at others so …
you can see the login-button on picture above…
but at me, the login-button is not there …
at me it looks so …
but the battle.net app allows to start without login … but if i click on start without login, then the battle.net app window appears totally black …
i can right click the tray button of the battle.net app, but there is no button to update my battle.net games, if i start bnet-app without login … so i cant play, because my blizzard games had patches and i cant update my blizzard games…
and other question: is there a hotkey at the login-screen to login? if there would be a hotkey, then i could try to login … is there a hotkey for that?
And why you don’t want to install it with Lutris?
You know that it is easier to install it with Lutris, Lutris app role is to make Linux gamers life easier.
So why you prefer to complicate your life?
with lutris, it is not possible to choose an wine-prefix with path before install …
some software write their files into the wine-prefix… and if you change the wine-prefix after install, some of those software does not run perfectly …
i want to use different wine-prefixes for my programmes … also before and during the installation of a programme, i want to use a specific wine-prefix …
but i use lutris after the installation to start those programmes …
it is false.
to install Battle.Net with Lutris:
→ set “GE-Proton latest” as default in Lutris to resolve Battle.Net install issue
in Lutris menu, preferences, runners, wine, click on the wheel, set “GE-Proton latest” as default Lutris Wine version
if you create a wine-prefix, then you can save it /home/user/wine-prefixes/wine_bnet … if you want to choose those wine-prefix at the install of the battle.net app, you can choose the path with install without lutris …
but if you want to use “/home/user/wine-prefixes/wine_bnet” as the wine-prefix-path at install of bnet app, you cant do it with lutris … in lutris you can choose the wine-prefix path only after install …
