Hello guys, when I try to install battle net/overwatch or hearthstone, I get stuck in the “arial fonts” installation loop. And then lutris throws the following error:

same exact issue. popos 22.04 (oddly works fine on my other rig which is nearly identical).
Started initial process 6449 from /home/goffy59/.local/share/lutris/runtime/winetricks/winetricks --unattended arial

Reinstalled POPOS 22.04 on main ssd along with lutris. Went to lutris website to install sc2 and selected my secondary drive (raid0, this is also where my steam library is at so i know it works fine) and I get the same EXACT error as before. I have previously tried to reinstall lutris with no worky. A fresh installed of the latest POPOS produced this exact same issue as the OP and my previous response. What gives?
edit: just keep in mind, this used to work just fine with my current setup; except that now instead of 21.04 I have 22.04 and I raided my drives together but that should not matter what so ever and if it did, why do my steam games work fine?
Next I am going to compress sc2 to a zip on a working system and unzip it here on the problem child computer and see if that will work.

well that was a waste of time. My head hurts. I think this game is broken. really sucks.

installed popos 21.04 fresh install to be safe, updated to 21.10 after getting lutris/sc2 working. Its fine on 21.10 and working great. No idea what changed in 22.04 but I don’t think the installer works for this version of popos. I previously had this comptuer upgraded from 21.10 - 22.04 (popos) and lutris/sc worked fine. Before all this started, I had to reinstall sc2 from scratch and noticed the installer stopped working. So this tells me as long as the game is already installed even if you upgrade to 22.04 it will work fine. Just dont be surprised when the installer wont work when you reinstall from scratch (sc2/lutris).
Anyhow, OP, just reinstall older version of linux that you previously used installer from and then upgrade it to the latest version of linux. No, I have no idea why 22.04 has issues with the sc2/lutris installer.
