360 Wireless Controller, Wine, Spelunky

Here’s some info that may help:

Fedora 27, Xbox 350 Wireless controller, Spelunky from GOG, latest Lutris in OBS and latest Wine in Fedora’s repos.

If I go to the joypad menu upon right-clicking on Spelunky, both event and js respond when I test the remote. So Wine is able to see it is how I interpret that.

Been googling this for a few days. I tried switching my prefix to 64bit, disabling js in the joypad menu, the dummxbox and the xboxce (although I’m not sure why that would be needed if I’m using a real Xbox controller)

Any help would be great and I can answer any other config questions you have.

Thanks!

Did you add the folder path when you enabled dumbxinputemu? E.g. this is the folder containing Batman AC GOTY’s game exe:

~/.local/share/lutris/runners/winesteam/prefix/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Batman Arkham City GOTY/Binaries/Win32

Yeah, when I do that the game refuses to start.

Whoops, I misunderstood the way that the dummyinput worked and didn’t realize it needed dlls just like the xbox ce. Once I put the dlls in place it would then start.
