same problem with installing epic games launcher

I had some of these fonts, but four were missing, I added the missing ones - it didn’t help. Also in the folder was one of the font files with the bac extension, I deleted it and replaced all the font files - this helped, everything started to install.

Which is exactly why I said “you will need to clear the folder listed below”. For some reason, winetricks was downloading files that would in some cases have 0 bytes or in others the checksum would fail pointing to a corrupt file. I haven’t tried the wine-ge-8.20 version yet which has a winetricks version fix for dotnet included to see if it will grab the correct corefonts
