I got the music for nolf2 working in play on Linux once but it was funky…it would start with input disabled. But you could log out and log back in while it was running and get controls back…the same winetricks in lutris did not the music work in game. Other than that game plays perfect and in game sounds work… but the nolf series has a great soundtrack
It already does work check the streamable link towards the end. No idea why it’s not working for cartoon.
The new installer does not work for me either. It does not run NOLF2 1.3 Latest Install.exe. It only sets up wine prefix. Tried on Ubuntu 18.04 with unity desktop and xubuntu 18.04.
Please make sure you’ve installed Wine Staging on your PC and rerun the installer.

NOLF2 1.3 latest install.exe does launch with wine not using lutris
Wine has an 18.04 repo there’s no reason to do that anymore. Anyway the only other thing I can think of is maybe checking to see if the runtime is disabled for Wine.
Right-click Wine on the sidebar > Configure > System options > Show advanced options > If Disable Lutris Runtime is checked uncheck it. Rerun the installer.
As of yesterday wine 18.04 bionic repo did not work on Xubuntu 18.04

Sometimes the game does not recognize keyboard input. ctrl-alt-delete and logging back in while the game is running seems to fix it.
seems to have resolved the keyboard input issue by selecting screen resolution from the in game options menu
OMG after all that my system wine got updated to wine-3.12 (Staging) and NOW the Lutris installer works!! LOL 
Hey, the install still is not working for me.
Nevermind, I finally got it working. I even had a hard time getting it working without crashing in Windows 7. I guess Linux is better for older games than Windows.
