MTG arena not working after Aug 1 update

There was a new update to mtg arena yesterday and ever since then I haven’t been able to get back onto arena.

I had trouble after the last update and after following the advice in this post:

I was able to get back up and running.

However now when I try and run the MTGA.exe it tells me that I need to run the MTGALauncher.exe, which deleted itself and had a message saying that it couldn’t finish.

I reinstalled it yesterday, and have tired deleting the MTGA directory and running the installer and still have the same problem.

MTG Arena Installation for august 1st new release

Hello MTG Arena players, Since August 1st, a new release of MTG Arena is arrived. And again, it no longer works. I use last technique provided last week that consist in a new lutris json file with the link to the latest .msi package and reinstall it. It worked for me. The post from bascobug solved my problem, but I had to do a complete reinstall for it to work
