Installing another version of lutris runner wine, using scripts

Using the script to set the wine prefix, the latest version of the wine runner lutris is installed by default. How can I write a script to use a different than the latest version of wine.

The only way to use another wine version for install than the latest one if to specify it in the script installer. For example, put at the end of the script installer: wine: version: lutris-5.7-11-x86_64 But you are right, an option to choose the default wine version for installing script installer will be nice feature.

I probably have more than 1 issue. Your software did install but are you able to run it ?

Just also be aware that you will need to update LIBPATH for that shell environment - the WINE runners (~/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine) all have their own libraries.

It will also make running other WINE features, like compatible versions of winetricks or mono, more complicated depending on what WINE version you choose.

Personally, I’d try and find out why it doesn’t run under the latest verion as a first step.
